Time to convert your blog to a book!

It's time to get a real blog book! Made by you!

This is what the home page of our new blog print service website looks like. My favorite thing is that you can type in your blog address, and click 'print my blog' and it will show you a preview of what your blog book will look like. You can actually flip through the pages digitally!

I received my book last week in the mail, I LOVE it! It looks so professional and I can't wait to make another one in a few months so I can start building a library of all of my families memories and activities that we can keep forever!

You have got to try it out, click HERE.

I want to hear your thoughts, and keep in mind, we might do a giveaway based on your comments from this post so please make an appearance! :)

  1. This is really cool, but I have one concern. On every post in the preview, it places every picture in the post at the very beginning, and sometimes the placement of the pictures are vital to the flow of the wording. For instance, in one of my posts, I say "And then I remember this..." and it's followed by a picture. When I previewed, the picture was at the very beginning of the post and not where I meant for it to be. I wouldn't be interested in purchasing it as it is because I think people who read it would be confused, but if you could fix it...who knows?

  3. Very very cool. I wish I could afford to get this done every 6 months or so. I have two questions...

    1. Does the price of the book depend on the number of pages in the book?

    2. Do the comments at the end of the book show who the comments are from?

    What a great gift idea!!!

  5. The prices depends on the number of pages. It will give you a total (that includes the price with all the pages with your comments on). I just went in and selected to have all my comments removed. You can pick what posts you want in the book! You can also delete all the comments or you can choose what comments you want to delete. We will soon be posting in the FAQ's more info. for everyone:)

  8. I agree with Alexis (postesd May 26, 2009 5:16 PM ). I love the idea and was definitely going to purchase one, but when I started reading the layout of the new book, I noticed that the information didn't correspond to the picture shown since all the pictures are lumped together and the text seem to be lumped together as well. I couldn't find a way to move the text so that it would be near the picture it was referring to. Excellent concept but I think it still needs some tweaking before I would purchase one and be extremely happy with it. I personally would purchase one annually to document my daughters growth (and possibly more kids when we have them). Also, I noticed the text seem to be in different sizes. Anyway, keep up the excellent ideas and let us know if you'll be making any tweaks :)

  9. This is a fabulous way to do it (I've seen other sites and wasn't too keen on theirs). As long as we can make an necessary edits and arrangements before printing, I think it's a great idea.

  17. I just barely put together & purchased one of these books. I love it. My little sister is on a mission and I've been keeping a blog for her with all her letters & pics. So I just put together a Blog Book of the first 3 months of her mission experience. I was thinking it'd be a great post-mission gift to give her a stack of books that are cute, organized & so nice to remember all her mission memories. Great idea & so easy to use! Thank you!!
