I'm excited to announce a new baby coming to the block this winter. I am 5 months pregnant and just found out yesterday that I'll be having a little girl! I already have my little hot wheel drivin', Diego watchin', dirt playin' two year old boy, but being the girly girl that I am, I always knew I would want a little pink, fluffy, feathery, sequin, pearls girl! (Let's hope she's not a tom boy!)
I welcome any name suggestions as I am at a loss for ideas! Also, any other pregnant moms please feel free to leave a comment of how you're doing so far!
Ashley - TCBOTB
Yay!! I am excited for you! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteI just had a little girl on June 6th, and we named her Lily Jean. So, first of all, CONGRATS!! Don't worry, when they're little they'll love anything you love on/for them. It's just when they are 6 (my oldest is 6- it's she's a girl), and they want to do everything themselves.
ReplyDeleteOther names we liked: Abigail, Katelyn, Hailey, Paisley, Evelyn, and Violet
Thanks ladies! Thanks Lyanna for the baby name ideas, I love how some of them have a vintage feel to them! L)

ReplyDeleteLove checking in to see what's new and LOVE that you are expecting a little girl. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter just turned one and she is named Grace Florine. We named her Grace, because we love that name, and Florine, after my husband's grandmother (who is loved and missed). I've always been fascinated with genealogy, so recycling a family name was special to me. Aren't old fashioned/vintage names the sweetest?!
Ohh, congratualtions!
ReplyDeleteI love the names Grace, Jacie and Katie.
Some names of people I know --
Kalinda, Shannesey, Rachel, Gloria, Helen, Courtney, Katelyn, Bryony, Alexandra =)
Luv,Emii
my favorite names at the moment are brynlee and addalee
ReplyDeleteHello,

ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog and website last night. I've learned a lot and really appreciate all the work you've done.
Congratulations to you! I am right behind you ... I am just past 17 weeks now and expected at Christmastime :) It's also my second, and I have a two year old little girl. I have my suspicions this one is a boy ... reverse of yours! BTW: I am totally biased, but I love my daughter's name; I consider it traditional - but not that common. Her name is Natalie.
ReplyDeleteBest to you and your family!
Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteDo you guys still offer siggy's?? I've tried making my own and it works for blogger, but I can't get it to work using live writer. Can you help with that, or just make me a new one and install yourselves? Thanks!
Congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteHaving a little girl is so exciting and there is so much pink stuff!!! My little girl is 3 1/2 months and owns everything under the sun that is pink :) My daughter's name is Brynlee Marie. I though it was unique but have since met 3 little girls with the same name, different spelling.

Yea, Congratulations Ashley!!! How fun and exciting!! I was so glad to get one little girl; she is smack in the middle of her two boy brothers, but so far is a girly girl true and through! :) I love my daughter's name Jocelyn Alee (we call her Jocie), and some other girl names I loved for her were Brielle, Lauren, Natalie, and Julia (Jules). Good luck!!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your baby news!I know this is your personal blog butI have tried to open 'community' on TCBOTB to leave a question but internet explorer keeps aborting the site. I have used various backgrounds from your terrific range in the past.
ReplyDeleteI have spent ages changing my blog to 3 column and background, I am not a techie but was able to follow your clear instructions easily.
I have my 3 columns but the side margins are too big and the 3 columns are squashed into the middle, I need to widen the space between the centre panel and side panels, is this covered somewhere on the site or how do I find out how to do it?
I would appreciate any help.
Congratulations on the Baby News!! Most Exciting!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to have to post here, but The Community and Forum is down, it keeps on saying Operation Aborted.
At The Burton Review I have a background that I would like to purchase from you and wanted to discuss that.
Please email me at marieburton2004 at yahoo dot com
I appreciate your time
Congrats! I love reading your blog..you are so full of energy. I love the name Everette for a girl :)
ReplyDeleteHi, forgive me for putting this in your comment section but I couldn't find a contact us area on either blog. You sent an email that you were doing wordpress backgrounds and I thought Hooray! Feels like I have waited forever. I went to your site and yes you are, but for wordpress.org blogs. Could you please include wordpress.com blogs in your background design. So far only The Background Fairy's backgrounds work on wordpress.com and even she says she doesn't know why because she didn't design them to. I feel like the forgotten child and I would like a cute blog too.
ReplyDeletethank you
robin
Congratulations. You have very cute blog designs so I can only image how cute your little girl will be.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Some of our favorite girl names: Lydia, Lillian, Violet, Renee, Susan, Michelle. We've had three boys in a row now (after one lonely big sister), so I think you have more use for these name ideas than we do. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, congratulations!!! I have a 1 year old boy, and sooo wanted a girl, though I wouldn't trade him for the world!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Ashley! You can name her after me or my DD- Kaybrie! Girls are so much fun! My son is 6 years older and I couldn't wait to get my little girly girl and I have her. You should friend me on FB and see the video where she is marrying her daddy, getting a big ring, living in a pink castle, wearing a pink dress etc.....so cute. She's 2 1/2!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the baby! I'm expecting my 4th this winter. Hoping for a little boy as I have 3 girlie girls already! Shelby, Olivia, and Maili (pronounced May Lee-highly unusual and rarely heard but is Celtic for Mary!) Good luck on the name search and have fun with the pink frills, sugar and spice, and everything nice with your little girl!
ReplyDeleteI too just found out we are having a girl this December. Our daughter is sooo excited since she has 2 younger brothers. I've already washed up the little pink clothes that we stuck in the attic all these years. Hope you are able to find a great name for your precious little one :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that some others of you are pregnant too. Sometimes you feel like you're the only one going through all of the fun pregnancy symptoms! :) Some more great name suggestions! I'm compiling a list! THX!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Ashley & family!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's name is Avery Paige
You need a name book. I can't think of any, I really like Emma
Back 5 years ago, seems the letter A names were the big thing, all my girlfriends daughters have girl names that begin with A.
